Hinoura Sintaro
1905
Hinoura Shintaro established a forging shop
in Ajikata village.
1941
In 1941 Shinichiro was gone to the pacific war.
During the war, shop was under staffed.

1957
Hinoura Yujiro was independent from his head family
and stated Hinoura Hamono factory in Higashi snipe.
1967
The factory was relocated to Koya.
1978
Hinoura Tsukasa became black smith.

1982
The brand “Ajikataya” launched.
It was named after Ajikata village.

1984
The high end brand
“Echigo Tsukasa” launched.

1991
Tsukasa got the encouragement award in craft-is SANJO89.
1991
The factory was relocated to Tukanome.
The company name was changed to HINOURA HAMONO.

1994
Yujiro got the industrial achievement award
from Sanjo city.
2001
Hinoura Mutsumi became black smith.

2005
Tsukasa got the Chaiman's award
at the SEKI OUTDOORS KNIVE SHOW.

2006
Tsukasa was certified as NIIGATA KENOH MEISTER.
Yujiro retired from black smith.

2007
Tsukasa got the Chaiman's award at the SEKI OUTDOORS KNIVE SHOW.
2009
Mutsumi got the Director's award at SEKI OUTDOORS KNIVE SHOW.
2012
Tsukasa was certified as a Japanese traditional craftsman.

2015
Tsukasa got the industrial achievement award from Sanjo City.
2019
Opened gallery and exhibition room.
